ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management System
We implement this preventive system in order to ensure the hygiene and safety of the foods we manufacture and distribute, striving to rule out or minimise any potential risk for the consumer’s health.
ΑΙΒ Standards (American Institute of Baking)
Our company has adopted the AIB’s standards on product hygiene and safety. Unannounced inspections of all our facilities are conducted twice yearly by the AIB in order to ensure our compliance with and enforcement of these standards, as a result of which our operations are constantly improving.
IFS Food System (International Featured Standard)
Chipita further ensures the top quality of its products by implementing the IFS system.
The quality of our products is assessed on an on-going basis. Besides the production, packaging, storage and distribution areas, products are also taken for assessment from randomly selected sales outlets to ensure that we have a full overview of their quality.
We implement all of the afore-mentioned standards and systems and assess their appropriateness and effectiveness on a constant basis. Our aim is to continuously improve our products so that they can be enjoyed by everyone throughout their day.
